Country reference
Qualification is specific to each identity or statement; an identity link does not imply a complete profile. Country pages retain selected revisions, statements, linked labels, source references and retrieval and review dates. Official-language statements describe official status, not every spoken language. Population claims retain their actual dates, geographic scopes and reviewed measurement methods where stated. Unqualified fields remain unavailable.
Geometry comes from the pinned publisher countries, map-unit and subunit features. Captions identify partial extents, including Metropolitan France, European Netherlands, and West Bank and Gaza. Maps do not establish telephone coverage or legal boundaries. Capital markers use the qualified Wikidata source positions; where a position falls outside retained land, the country source notes state the discrepancy. Source precision is not an accuracy radius.
Country mappings and clock transitions were reviewed on 2026-10-30. Country membership follows zone1970.tab, preserving shared rows, original zone identifiers and retained aliases. Calculations start at 00:00 UTC on 2026-01-01 and end before 00:00 UTC on 2031-01-01; outside that range they are unavailable. These pinned rules may be changed by future legislation. Ascension Island, Kosovo and Tristan da Cunha have no qualified country timezone list. Calling codes do not determine a timezone.

Attribution
Normal and italic fonts are served locally, obtained through the official CSS2 service on 2026-10-30. The linked Google Fonts revision identifies the original full font sources; CSS2 webfonts keep their own retrieval date.
Verified artwork covers all 245 catalog entries. Ascension Island and Tristan da Cunha use the publisher's own sh-ac and sh-ta artwork.
How it is reviewed
Check the source
Purpose, version and terms, before using it for any field.
Keep the evidence
Every imported fact keeps its source, version or retrieval date, confidence and review metadata.
Review changes
Changes are compared with the previous reference data. Missing or conflicting evidence stays marked; a new build never proves that a number is current.
What is not covered
- Private supplied artifacts and old exports without modern verification.
- Broad web crawls, competitor data, or sources outside the accepted release.
- Unreviewed ITU, IANA, GeoNames, commercial, carrier or spam data.
- NANP city-level, carrier, subscriber, owner, exact-location, live-validation, reverse-lookup or spam data.
